About the Eastpoint Civic Association

Purpose

Eastpoint Civic Association, Inc. is a community led group of citizens with a purpose to improve the rural community of Eastpoint for the betterment of its citizens by improving their quality of life and encourage sustainable economic development.

Objectives

The general objectives of the Eastpoint Civic Association, Inc. are:

• Promoting Eastpoint waterfront and revitalization.
• Providing a forum for discussing issues that interest and impact Eastpoint residents and businesses.
• Supporting the Eastpoint Volunteer Fire Department/first responders and other economic endeavors benefiting Eastpoint proper.
• Providing leadership for Eastpoint proper improvements.
• Playing a role in preserving and/or enhancing the natural beauty and ecology of Eastpoint and preserving the historical character of Eastpoint.
• Taking concerted action on matters which will in any way affect the welfare of the citizens of Eastpoint.
• Supporting other community interests, beautification, clean-up, cemetery pavilion, streetlights, sidewalks and other issues that impact the Eastpoint community.
